Get yourself ready for a Co-op Placement with these useful workshop and events. There is also important resources, such as employee support and resume writing.
1. Do your Co-op placement in Indonesia and you could be eligible to one of 12 $7,000 grants! Apply http://www.internationalinternships.com.au/rmit-coop-application/
2. If you're currently on placement, ensure you are enrolled into WIL1 and WEI1 courses or WIL2 and WEI2.
3. Students who have not found a placement and wish to transfer out of the Applied program and into their 3 year equivalent can do so via Apply Online/Direct Application
4. If you're new and needing to undertake a placement for Semester 1, 2019 ensure you have registered with the team and have signed up for Induction!
This session is essential to all Applied Business students looking to undertake their placement year at the start of 2019.

The Business WIL team work closely with employers and will give their best advice in preparing a solid resume and cover letter and answer questions about online applications.
Bring your resume and cover letter along (and any applications or job ads you want to apply for).
The session will be practical and designed to really hone in on the details.

Effective Co-op Job Searching Strategies
If you're looking to secure a Co-op placement for semester 1, 2019 the Business WIL Team will give insights and advice into finding a job, how to approach employers and share what the available roles you can apply for are.
They'll share practical advice about reaching out to potential employers including what you can say and how best to sell yourself.
The team works closely with Co-op employers everyday so come prepared with any questions you may have.

Co-op Interviewing Skills
You've got through the hardest stage and made it to interview! Be at your best by preparing yourself early and practicing to make yourself stand out (for good reasons!).
The Business WIL team will take you through their top advice for interviewing well. The team speaks daily with different employers and understands what employers look for. Some interviews are informal and feel more like a chat. Others are formal and will make you think on your feet. It's best to be prepared for both!
The team will take you through commonly asked questions as well as some hairier ones.

RMIT is providing grants of $7000 to undertake your 8-month Co-op Internship next year in one of Asia’s fastest-paced international cities, Jakarta.
Come along to this info session and hear how you could do something extraordinary during your Co-op year!
Internships are available in renowned multinational corporations and international NGOs, as well as start-ups and grass-roots organisations. This program also includes mentoring and training, language classes and career support to help you develop your skills for working in the Asia-Pacific.
On this program, you will work with an internship consultant to secure 2 x 4 month
placements in your discipline area in the bustling metropolis of Jakarta.
